The holidays are almost here! One of our favorite things to do is to enjoy looking at holiday light displays around Columbus. I’ve rounded up a list of FREE light displays in the area below. Scroll down for the full list, and let me know if there are any I should add.
Columbus Commons
November 22 – February 16
5 – 10 pm, daily
Start your Wanderlights experience at Columbus Commons and see the park shining brighter than ever with new twists on this holiday tradition (easy parking is a plus). Experience a kaleidoscope of color as you stroll through the Commons and get ready to make the season BRIGHT. Magical memories are waiting to be made daily, but check out special events through the holiday season for an extra-festive atmosphere.
Wanderlights at Columbus is possible thanks to generous support from the American Electric Power Foundation.
Town Street
November 22 – February 16
5 – 10 pm, daily
Lucy Depp Park Light Show in Powell
A labor of love, it takes months to hang the lights and countless hours to program the show. Almost every tree, bush, and display is independently controlled–and most of them down to each light bulb (pixel). We custom mix the music and program the show ourselves, having to tell all 250,000+ channels what to do down to the millisecond. It’s quite a feat to make some lights blink, that much is for sure!
Our 2024 show runs from Black Friday until January 5th, dusk until 10pm Sun-Thurs and until 11 on Friday and Saturday. Because our roads are so narrow and traffic is a concern, we have a loop around the show. There are signs directing traffic, but to find us on Google our “address” is 9360 Frabell Dr, Powell OH 43065.
Easton Town Center
November 23 – December 31
5-11PM daily
