How many kids do you have and what are their ages?
I’m a proud girl mom to one—my daughter, Bristol.

How long have you lived in the Columbus area, and what brought you here?
I’ve lived in Columbus my whole life—it’s home!
What does your family enjoy doing together in your spare time?
We love going to OSU women’s basketball games, traveling, catching movies, and hanging out at our local library.
Tell us about your business, Reigning Sleepover Parties.
I started Reigning Sleepover Parties in 2021 during the pandemic. Funny story—I had hired a local company for my daughter’s sleepover, but I decided to DIY a lot of it myself. I added balloons, a cute backdrop, and even created a fun spy activity for the kids. I loved it so much I thought, “I could totally do this all the time.” Not long after, the company I hired announced they were moving and selling the business. I couldn’t afford to buy it, so I decided to start my own—and that’s how Reigning Sleepover Parties was born!

What inspired you to start this business?
I’ve always loved planning parties, decorating, and bringing ideas to life—and of course, my daughter was a big inspiration too!
What are some of your favorite party themes you offer?
I’m obsessed with our disco, cowgirl, and pink cheetah themes. I’m a pink girl at heart, so I love any theme that lets me add those fun touches.

What do you love most about your business and what you do?
I love getting to be creative and having clients trust me to bring their vision—or mine!—to life. And I’ve met so many awesome families around Central Ohio through this business.
How do you juggle running a business and being a mom?
Honestly? I’ve learned a lot from other moms on YouTube! I’ve figured out ways to make life easier—like grocery delivery, laundry services, cleaning a little each day, and meal planning. It’s all about finding those little shortcuts.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Most mornings I start with a quick devotional and some motivation. Then I get in a workout—I’ve lost a lot of weight recently and I’m working to keep it off! I make breakfast for me and Bristol, drop her off at school, and head to work as a full-time dental hygienist. On my lunch break, I catch up on emails. After work, I pick up Bristol and we’re off to one of her activities—whether it’s tutoring, swimming, or dance. Then it’s dinner at home, I squeeze in a little more client work, and we wind down for bed.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give a new mom?
Don’t forget about YOU. Make time for self-care, be patient with yourself, and soak up every moment—it really does go by so fast.
