When the hot weather arrives, and you’re looking to cool off, look no further then some of the Splash Pads in Columbus! Be sure to pack the following for a successful splash pad experience: sunscreen, sunglasses and/or hats, towels, an extra change of clothes, water and of course lots of snacks! Many splash pads are open until Labor Day or longer so we will update this post as we find information on opening dates for the season. We recommend double checking hours of operation before heading out, as many of these are weather dependant.

Gahanna Splash Pad
2026 dates: open now! (weather dependant)
- Opens annually in early May.
- Pre and post season hours will be 8am – 8pm, During the Gahanna Swimming Pool operating season the hours will be 8am – 12pm.
Hilliard Station Park

Powell Splash Pad

Normal hours are 9am-9pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day, but may vary depending on weather, maintenance, or events happening in the park. Before heading out to the Splash Pad, please visit the City of Powell on Facebook to make sure there have been no last-minute changes in hours for the day or closings due to inclement weather.

The Grove City Splash Pad is free and open to the public during the summer. It is located in Fryer Park, 3899 Orders Road. Turn right on Discovery Circle before the Grove City YMCA. Open when the Grove City YMCA outdoor pool is open. Find hours online.

Obetz Splash Pad **(Free for Obetz Residents)

The Junction Park Splash Pad will open Memorial Day Weekend to both Obetz residents and non-residents for the 2026 season. Obetz Black Card holders receive free admission and may bring up to two guests per household per visit, while non-residents are welcome for a daily fee of $5 per person. All visitors must check in at the rental window and wear a wristband for entry.
